I know this has been floating out on YouTube for a while, and I'd heard a lot of jokes about it, but I hadn't actually watched Miss Carolina's stunningly stupid answer to a question posed to her during the recent Miss Teen USA pageant until two days ago. If you haven't seen it yet, click below.
My husband thinks it's mean that everyone is picking on her. Do you think he would feel that way if she wasn't cute as a button?

TERRY thinks everyone is PICKING on her? This from the man who was always first to get in a jab whenever any of us put our foot in our mouth? Sheesh! Tell him I said he's either getting soft in his old age or showing a distinct bias towards a cute little blonde.....
Yea - he's still as you remember him. The "bias" is pathetically obvious.
Hmmm...I love it when my wife uses the word "pathetic" to describe me - particularly in a public forum. Love you too, honey.
And I resent the blonde comment. My distinct bias HAS been toward cute and little, but I've always been pretty flexible on hair color.
Just to clarify, I didn't describe YOU as pathetic. I described your attitude toward Ms. Teen Carolina as pathetic. You know I think you're wonderful, and I stand by my comment.
Why are you two fighting over this when we should be sending troops of public school principals over to South Africa and Iraq?

You are so right. My mother is a former school administrator and teacher, and my sister in law teaches children now. I'm going to get them involved in the fight to bring maps to Iraq, South Africa and the US.
Wait. How will we know where to bring the maps...
