Join the campaign against cruelty toward Account Executives

I'm hearing all over the news that "cage-free eggs" are the all the rage now. If consumers are willing to pay more for cage free eggs, I think the Ad industry should get ahead of the trend. I sat in a cube for at least the first 5 years of my career.

Have a heart: insist on Cage Free Ads

I was blessed blessed blessed! JWT had cubicles, but the walls/partitions were over 5 feet tall. You actually had a "door" opening, room for a guest chair, and some modicum of privacy. By the time I left there I was already in an office and never had to go back to a cube.

I actually was giving SERIOUS thought to turning down a job I almost got here in Florida because I would have been in one of the cubes like you showed. My attitude is I'm too freakin' OLD for that crap! Fortunately I got the job I'm in now first!

Helen - I totally understand turning down a job if a cube is involved. I know "open space design" is an evolved management philosophy - but I'm with you. I can't go back.
